Dr. Layth Mahdi is an Emergency Medicine physician and Medical Director/Site Leader at ARENSIA Exploratory Medicine in Phoenix. He completed medical school at Mayo Clinic and residency in Emergency Medicine at New York-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist. He leads operations and expansion of ARENSIA Phoenix and its trials in cardiology, neurology, hepatology, dermatology, endocrinology, metabolic and autoimmune disease. He practices Emergency Medicine and teaches residents and students at hospitals across the Valley. His work focuses on bridging academic and community medicine with early-phase clinical research to broaden trial access and novel therapeutics for Arizona communities.

David M Treiman MD has served as Professor of Neurology at the UCLA School of Medicine, Professor and Chair of Neurology at the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Brunswick, New Jersey, Professor of Neurology at the Barrow Neurological Institute in Phoenix, Arizona, and Editor-in-Chief of the medical journal, Epilepsy Research. At the BNI he was the director of the epilepsy program and Vice chair of the Department of Neurology.
He was the founding Regional Medical Director for the ARENSIA Exploratory Medicine Phoenix Research Clinic and now serves as the Regional Medical Director for Strategic Alliances. During his academic career, he served as the principal investigator or site principal investigator for 42 clinical trials, ranging from Phase I trials to Phase IV trials.
